Typical Nets
Shown are some typical nets and some of their uses. Frames and handles are made from #304 stainless steel rod in either 1/8, 3/16 or 1/4 inch dimensions. Larger nets are attached to an aluminum handle. Mesh sizes range from brine shrimp, extra fine, 1/32, 1/16, 1/8 or 1/4 inch commercial grade netting. Vinyl trim can be added for extra protection for a small additional fee. If you ever do wear out the mesh, all nets are repairable. This makes them truly a lifetime net. Prices vary according to size and complexity of manufacture. Custom orders are welcome. Please call or email for a quote.

I've used Florida Aquatic Nets for years both in wholesale and retail situations. The large, flat bottomed vat nets allow safe gathering of large numbers of fish, while the smaller hand nets are excellent fo transfering the fish from the vat net to the shipping container.
On the retail side, the durable stainless steel frames and sturdy net material hold up to saltwater and the hazards of coral decorations. Several of my personal nets have been in use for several years.

I want to complement Florida Aquatic Nets on my latest acquisition of two Brine Shrimp nets.
These nets have changed my routine and saved me valuable time in my hatchery. I had given up on using Brine Shrimp Nets years ago because I never found one that would actually strain newly hatched brine shrimp.After several strong rinsing all the water passes right through and the shrimp stay in the net.
I was already familiar with the quality and durability of Florida Aquatic nets. As the operator of a hatchery specializing in Angelfish and Ancistrus .. Many of my tanks are mounted sideways in the racks to maximize space. I needed some custom sized nets that had a smaller netting area but a long and sturdy handle to reach into the furthest area of these tanks. The nets were made to my specifications and far exceeded my expectations.
